temp sending unit

Default temp sending unit

Where the hell is the temp sending on a 88 xj? I heard the back of the head and i heard in the radiator. I got a new electric water temp guage and need a place to put the new sending unit. any ideas thanks/
I searched temp sending unit and got 3, not what i needed

ok the temp sending unit in your 88 is on the back of the head on the drivers side like this:
temp sending unit-sensor_coolant_temp_2.jpg

and the fan switch sensor that turns on your fan goes in here on your radiator.

Yeah, i founfd it when i went to look again , it was as obvious as your picture. hahah
On the fan sensor does one wire do the temp and the other wire let it come on when the a/c is on?
