hi i have 96 jeep country and i put white guage stickers in and now my temp guage doesnt work i can set the needle at 210 for example and turn the key an it will move back down but when the jeep is running the gauge doesnt move does anybody have any ideas on how to fix this?

 

Did you break a connection while you had the cluster out?

Disconnect the temp sender under the hood and ground it. What does your gauge do? (key on)
How about if you let the sensor connector hang unhooked? What does the gauge do?

 

Those things are killers! Replace ur cluster now, only way. Did the same thing on my 99, ****ed it up, anyway eBay has cheap clusters so no worries

 

Once u pull a needle out, your done, also manually turning them can screw them up too, bad idea to ever do the white faces of any type. Led lights is the only way to go,

 

i tried turning the car on and unpluging the sensor and pluging it back in and it did nothing

 

Sounds like the cluster is broken..

 

EBay, very cheap replacements. While ur there get some led bulbs and no faces
