So i did the cluster swap for the factory tach and got rid of the dummy lights in my 90 Cherokee. Almost everything works. Tach works fine, speedo works fine, volt meter works fine, got the new oil pressure sending unit and now it works fine. The problem im having is with the temp gauge. I see where on the block, the spot for the sensor to go for the comp to read temp, but the spot on the head wear the one wire plugs in seems to be missing.

I know i need this:

but there is no place on the head were it would go in. There isn't one there right now. PO of my jeep put in aftermarket gauge and put the probe in where the lower sensor should go.

I also need this:

i know where the spot is for this though.

What year you got?

Theres no hole for the sending unit? got pics?

On a Renix the temp sending unit for the dash goes in the back on the head, which should be the first one you listed. The second one might be for the ECU or the aux. fan..IIRC
