Tc Drop Needed?!?!

Tc Drop Needed?!?!
Alright well as some of you know i just got my lift done yesterday as well as an allignment my lift is in my sig and i was wondring if i needed a tc drop..........There's not much vibration that i couldnt deal with but i also have no clue on what could happen if i dont drop the t-case anybody mind schooling me on the bad thing's that could happen with out the drop?!?!?!

If you don't do it you could throw the drive shaft out wile driving. And don't believe everyone that you need a slip yoke eliminator. Thats not always the solution. Go to a driveline shop and see what they say about changing the yoke in you trans.
And if you want a good cross member get the 1inch drop one from Rustys. Seeing as how everbody thinks they rip you off on shipping online, I would call them. Or look for one on ebay like I did. It drops the transfer case with out loosing any ground clearence.

Hmmm well the thing is im about to drive 300miles down south to visit my best freind so tomm. im goin to tighten everything up throw the front swaybar back on and do the transfer case drop.......

I'm running a 6 inch lift on my XJ right now with a 1.5 inch drop on the TC and 6 degree shims on the resr leafs. It works perfect on and offroad and I have no vibes.

If you have very lil vibes just add some degree shims to your Leaf spring. That should give your axle a lil better angle. I personally don't like the Idea of Tcase drops but if you are on a budget then do what you have to do.

Hmmmm i might wait until i get there i hear alotta people dont even do a TC drop with only a 3inch lift......

but if its not a hi angle yok it will bind if the axle drops

it is the same as doing a tc drop you still loss the same clearance
it just cost more

Also if i pull that rubber boot back about an inch i could count the splines (dont know if that matter's or not).......

vibes are a minor problem but it will get worse over time and cuase damage latter on and premature u joint failure so if you have vibes take care of it. you will be better off in the long run
