Default tc cross member ?

hi got a 94 xj auto and lifted 3" and 2" blocks and for the hell of it flexed it out and today i looked at it and the rear ds was sticking out 2inchs more than it was and was going to do a tc drop then notice that the whatever matieral is used to hold the tc to the tc cross member looks like it cracked what is that and any idea how to fix it il try to get a pic when it stops poorin

Post a pick they are stamped steel and what you saw could be nothing. If it is cracked they are in J.Y.'s every were. And cheep.

A drop will help yes. Not recommended SYE is a much better idea and will save money over time. But it is a little pricey. However if your cross member is cracked that could cause an issue.

well its not the cross member its self il post a pic tomarrow so u guy can see what im talkin about it might even be nothing to worrie about

As said it's bolted via the transmission mount, a black peice of polyurethane material. If the cross member itself is cracked, I'd suspect you'd get a loud clunk under regular acceleration.

The transfercase drop isn't bad by any means, just an SYE is better over all. But for the price, and install, it will do fine. Rustys Offroad 1" drop kit is something like $20.

yes that black peice is the peice im talkin about and was maken a clunking sound so in that case what should i do and what would make the clunking noice

that how much farther shes sticking out but havent got the coil spacers in yet so it mit level out a lil bit more but still going to do the tc drop

tc drop will push the slider back in some ,putting in the coils i guess you talking about front spring coils will have no effect on ds
