DO NOT cut them!!!! inside of your jeep there is a plastic panel that is all the way to the left of the pedals. take that off and the wires should already thave plastics connectors. you just disconnect them and stuff the wires from the door into the hole in the door. same thing for the left side only... you guessed it, no pedals. for the rear doors, there is a piece of plastic molding that runs the length of the front doors, take that off. then take off the plsitc molding piece that covers the front seatbelts, and goes up the pillar. oh yeah, there should be little rubber boots that hold the wiring in place (on the jeep, not the doors) they are a PITA to get out, but you have to to get the wiring out. i cut them sideways/lengthwise and pulled/ pried them out with channellocks and a HUGE screwdriver. PM me if you need anymore help. BTW the doors weigh about 70-80 pounds each.

IF you don't mind doing the custom work, they make a electrical contact panel that sits in the door jamb that connects any electrical option you need. Most people use them on hot rods for mirrors and PDL's, whatever they can think of.

Well mine are cut, but that was the PO's thing. they cut them but never put a connector on. I went to radio shack and bought a 6 plug connector for 5 bucks per door. Everything works fine with it, and is easy to unplug with those rubber boots on. Those things are easy to get on and off IMO.
I am aware of the connector near the pedals, t{his is a great way to get the doors off without any wire cutting} but my problem is actually disconnecting it. i cant find and way to do it. nothing i do even budges it. any help would be appreciated.
