For the doors, have you taken them off yet? If not I acually found it easier to take the torx bolts off then cut the hinges. If you have them off already, I haven't heard of any special hinge, but the more you take them on and off they get easier. I also changed the pin to a 1/4 grade 8 bolt and tacked them in place. It still lines up fine.

On the electrical side, all the connectors are behind the kick panels for the doors.

Yeah I pretty much did the same. I passenger side tripped me out since the pins are in up side down, but other than that it was good. I tried to dremal it first, but after hours of doing that I just undid the torx bolts.

Im not too sure about my info but all the guys i wheel with say you need to reinforce the unibody due to doors being part of the structural integrity if the xj. It doesnt make much sence to me but i can see it if you plan on flexing it really hard. I drove my 89 4 door up an RTI ramp and i couldnt open any of the doors (yes i was stuck inside)

same thing happened to my wife's elantra when she slid into a ditch lol she called me telling me she crashed and couldnt get out of the car, i was expecting it to be upside down when i got there lol.

but ya some frame stiffeners should be in order if you wanna go doorless, dont need a cracked weld or a window popping out on the e-way
