Default taillights and dash lights out after messy heater core back flush

Radiator and heater core stopped up with so much junk it looked like peanut butter. Did 2 hour back flush with inlet/outlet hoses from heater core out of firewall. Water leaking and spraying everywhere. dripping down sidewall by battery, spraying over the engine in streams, leaking down my arms, overflowing from bottle -total F-ing mess.

Now tailights and dash out. Blowing 20 amp fuse in fuse box. Found the fuse, used another to test, blew it immediately upon turning on interior lights. Have headlights but no taillights or dash. Come on when that 20a fuse is replaced but blows it instantly.

Where Do I even start? Obviously something is shorting, wondering if it might be water in a connector creating a short??...Which connector would I even look at? Any of them could have gotten the soak.

If not that, what else. Problem didn't exist until tonight when I finished the flush. What sucks is heater core re-clogged and I have to do all this again.

Any advice?

Could be possible you might have a wire exposed and its touching a ground. But after only doing a flush i doubt it.

I do know that when i didnt have power to my tail lights it was due to a grounding issue, so i butt connected a a ground to the wiring and fixed!!!

I would check your wiring, and make sure your fuses, or slots dont have any water in them
