Tailgate Lift Light Sensor?
When I lift my tailgate my interior lights flicker on and off, it used to not do this.
I'd be okay with the flickering but when it reaches it's top resting position the lights are off, so I have to pop a side door open to keep it on.
Anyone know where I could adjust this so they'll stay on with the tailgate?
Thanks!

There isn't an adjustment on the switch. I just repaired mine. At least I didn't see one. Anyways it sounds like you may have a bad wire. It is very common for the wires to crack and break inside the rubber boot above the hatch. You may also want to check if you have a loose wire on the switch, That is located in the hatch on the latch.
Hope this helps.

And as for the wires in the boot, should I just take off the boot and check the condition of the wires?

Yes Sir!
Just take off the lift gate panel and remove the 2 hex screws for the latch. I only had to clean my switch. My problem was the little light on the dash that shows that the hatch was staying on. As for the rubber boot I never had to take mine off. I am not 100% on how it comes off. But, If I'm not mistaken it should just pop off. Just be careful not to rip it.

Hmm. Maybe I'll poke around in there, the sensor for my latch is fine its just that my interior lights go on and off at the same positions as my tailgate raises up.
