Default Tail lights out. bulbs replaced.

I have a 94 XJ. Tail lights do not work after replacing bulbs. Assuming it is a fuse, but need to know the location. Anyone know where the tail light fuse is located? TIA

There are fuses under the dashboard by the drivers feet and in the engine bay on the passenger side. If you have the owners manual it will tell you where the specific fuse is.

Thank you, I do have the owner’s manual, but it doesn’t have one that specifically says it is for the tail light/running light. Is there something else they might consider it?

Are you 100% certain that the bulbs were bad? Get a multimeter and check that you have power at the tail lights, if the fuse does not fix the problem.
