Tail lights
So after driving in a crazy storm, my dash lights and tail lights have stopped working. The fuses all look good so I am stumped as to what would cause this?? If anyone has experienced this on a 89 xj with a 4.0l I'd like to hear how to fix it..any help would be appreciated as I was pulled over for no lights and now have to get a inspection/safety..!

Never had it happen in my xj, but have had the tail lights and dash lights go out on our '94 chevy 1500. It turned out to be the headlight switch. But just as a warning, after a while the headlights started to cut off and on. So don't wait if it is that, you don't want to be caught on some back road with no headlights.

Also never had this problem, but my buddies 94 Dakota has the same issue, and it was, as mentioned above, the headlight switch. Seem to be a not unheard of problem with the pull-style switches apparently.
