tail light problems

tail light problems
ok so im new here but ive had my cherokee for almost 3 years. but i just recently shorted out my drives side tail light. and i CAN NOT find 1. i have gotten 14 fix-a-tickets from every type of new york cop...
if you put a bulb in and force it , it will lock in and work for 5 minutes. 1 bump though and it doesnt work
does any one know where i can find. ive tried the 2 local salvage yard they wanna sell me new ones and theyre 75 bucks.
