I have a 98 cherokee sport and the tail light on the drivers side will not light. the PO cut a few wires and spliced them together i have not been able to get it to turn on. i checked bulb fuses and the wireing. i am looking for some one that has a diagram of the wires in the driver side quater pannel. there are quite a few wires that are cut or not where they should be. thanks

Does anything work on the rear driver side tail light? Blinkers, running lights. Something to note is that alot of people try and wire a trailer light kit right there. So maybe thats why there are so many cut wires. Do you have a multimeter? Could be a bad ground. Trying to find a diagram but not having any luck

It has factory tow package and not currently... I have brake light turn signal and reverse light but no tail light marker... I was playing with the wires and it was working but can't figure out what wire goes to what.. I've been looking for a diagram or something but can't seem to find one :/

Yeah I have pulled an checked all fuses visually. I didn't out an ohm meter or test light to them.. I'm almost 100% sure it's wires because there's three coming out of the harness that are cut. But not spliced.. I had it working last night for about 10 min and then the fuel pump shut off and the jeep shut off. I moved the wires and the pump turned back on... It has some issues but I payed 400 for it with 146000 and a new 3 inch lift with offset rims and 31s ... Gunna start the project this summer when the weather isn't -20 out lol

In the harness in the quarter panel on the drivers side. There's a group of wires. Some to the tail light some to under the jeep.there was a ground that was bad that was loose so I moved it. Sanded the paint down drilled a hole and re terminated the end and made it secure. But that didn't fix it
