Default Symptoms of a vacuum leak ?

Aside from the A/C vents not working correctly - are there other engine related things that would cause you to say - "hmm - I think I have a vacuum leak" ?

Thanks

when I got one my car almost died about every 5 minutes. It would lose all power and sputter then pick right back up to normal. It ended up being a small crack in one of the hoses.

Ok so maybe what I am trying to solve is not a vacuum leak (which I think I have anyway).

- The dashboard gauges are all fine.
- The car runs/drives great.
- I changed the plugs etc within the last 12 months.
- The RPMs are fine when the car is idle.

But with my hands on the steering wheel the car just seems to have a slight rumble that was never there before when I am stopped. It seems to be getting perhaps ever so slightly worse over time.

Try checking your motor mounts, mine have that kind of rumble at stop/idle, changing the broken pass side cured it.

that is true, mine had the same issue with the drivers side mount. Buy a set of brown dog rubber motor mounts. Also, a transmission mount can cause the same thing.
