What are some symptoms of the CPS being bad?
The jeep starts fine every time and is not triggering the CEL!, but I'm still getting the low end putter when I step on the gas. It almost feels like its missing on a cylander, but the jeep is still drivable sounding like a tractor.
I may end up just taking it to a shop if I can't determine whats causing it. Can you guys rule out any of these for possible issue or give an easy test for them?

Ok, i think im going to replace the ignition switch first, since that was first symptom I had the day before this all started, and go from there.
Anyone done this before? Brief directions for anyone please?

The CPS well it can cause so many different things it is hard to really tell you all of them.
I always assume CPS first when I have any problems with the way the engine runs.
Easy quick fix (usually) is to just unplug it blow it out with canned air then plug it back in.
TPS is usually too high or low of throttle at idle. Can have problems with trans shifting also if I am not mistaken.

The ignition switch is easy it sits on top of the steering wheel behind the dash!
I experimented with mine first by pulling one at a JY that way I wouldn't mess up my Jeep. It helps to lower the steering wheel down which is two 15mm bolts connected to support braces.
If you are talking about the actual ignition the key goes into then you have to take the steering wheel apart. I have seen good write-ups for it on NAXJA!
