Question SYE question.

There was a site for the SYE kits posted a little while and I can't seem to find it. On the site you have the choice to just buy the SYE by it self, or buy the drive shaft by it self, so on and so forth. If anyone can help with navigating me to this site that'd be great.

Also, I have a Dana 35 rear, an np231 transfer case, and a 5 spd tranny. If I were to get a SYE what should the size of the driveshaft be?
Can I use one off another jeep? I have searched around and it never really gets into specifics of the length etc?

Again, any help is much obliged. Thanks!

I believe frankz still has an sye for sale and you would be looking for a front driveshaft from a 91+(IIRC) xj

if you order a new ds you need to measure to figure out what size.

Okay cool, thanks! I'm going to go measure and come back with the length to see if it sounds about right.

Okay, so I guess now my question is, If I purchase an SYE kit and the current stock drive shaft is 34 1/2" , then what is the length I will need after adding the SYE?

what you measured should be the length of the new driveshaft because it is longer, to compensate for the SYE. measure from ujoint cap to ujoint cap and compare the lenghts. when you call a company like Tom Woods to place an order for a new driveshaft, they'll ask you for the length and what kind of ujoints(1310). hope that makes sense, and i hope it's the right info.

Oh okay, I understand now. When I order a new driveshaft I'll tell them I need one that's 34 1/2" thanks for the help!
