SYE for 242
I have a 99 with a 242 Transfer case. With a 4.5" lift it has a fair amount of driveline virbation.
It looks like the only place to get an SYE is Tom Woods. I just got off the phone with them and the guy I spoke with said that some 242's have a roll pin that holds the shift fork in place and that its a real ***** to drive out and replace. Unfortunately he didn't know how to identify which ones have the roll pin.
Does anyone know if the 99 had a roll pin holding the shift fork or is it only in earlier models.
Possibly someone with a service manual that can check for me?

I bought the Tom Woods SYE kit for the 242. I installled it in an afternoon with some basic tools and snap ring pliers. Was very easy. No concerns with the roll pin and shift fork on my 99
