Default sye?

i have a 231 and i want to install an sye...is it a must to to remove the transfer case? or is it possible to leave it in and split it apart and so on

Its much easier when its out only six nuts hold it in you still gotta take all the same stuff off wether its in or out .But it can be done in vechicle .

Depends on if your doing a full shaft swap or hack n tap.

Hack n tap may be easier while still attached with the shafts off.

Ive done hack and tap and sye .ill spend extra couple buck and do sye if i do another .

thanks man! helped out im probably doing the full sye not the hack n tap, i think ill try it with the tc installed thanks
