ok when i bought my xj the was no fron sway bar and todays the first time i ever drove it my question is is what exactly does it do is it nessesary safe with out it and what does it effect as far as extra play suspension wear and driving. next whats your opinion drive as is or pick one up from the jy

 

i'd get one, its dangerous to drive without, too much body roll. The only time you dont use a sway bar is when off roading

 

Yep X2 on the body roll when using it on the street, but would be good disconnected when wheeling for flex...Tj

 

X2, I run a TJ sway bar with modified mounts on mine and have quick disconnects for the trail
