sway bar
Would removing the front sway bar when going off-road improve the performance in any way? I've heard about it on a few more modified xj's, just thought id ask about it
|
Yes removing it will allow your front end more articulation but it will put more stress on other suspension parts. Jeep cherokees seem to handle not having it just fine, as mine is removed on my trail rig. If you ever plan on driving the jeep on the road get disconnect links.

ok i know youre new but you really should use the search before you post anything DUSTIN

no sway bar
got to get use to it if driving on the road but took mine off love not having it on there gets more traction when i go riding
 |
Do disconnect links tend to be expensive? How easy to install?
What do you mean I should use search first? |
look at the top it right between new posts and quick links. type in some key words (ex)sway bar) and a bunch of threads on sway bars will pop up. its very easy
