Swapping out steering wheel.
I've got a '98 Grand Cherokee Limited and the steering wheel is falling apart. It's starting to peel and deteriorate and I want to put in a new one. My question is that if I can get ahold of a steering wheel out of an '05 - '10 does anyone know if it will fit in my '98 or does it have to be from the same generation?

I dont know but I just bought a steering wheel cover. If you get one that looks basically stock in the right color they dont look bad.

I would think you will have airbag issues...better stick to similar year. I was lucky with my XJ, found a base fleet model with a non-leather wheel at the JY.
You can have it reskinned with leather around here for around $100.

Ah, didn't know I could have it reskinned. That might be the best move for me. I definately don't want airbag issues and alot of times looking for one at the JY is hit and miss trying to find one in better condition. Thanks for the input.
