swap out 95 steering column for 89
i have an 89 parts xj which steering column i prefered ( more stable, no airbag, metal, not falling apart after 20+ years ) is there any foreseen issues with this swap ? i am mainly concerned about electrical connections, i can see mechanically all connections are the same. i pulled the 89 column and noticed it had a cable operated wheel lock, the 95 does not ( i think ). the 89 had cruise control whereas the 95 did not. thanks in advance

X2, all of the electrical in the 95 column are different, plus if this is a street legal vehicle that came with an airbag, it would be illegal to remove or tamper with it by fedral law.
