I got 6.5" of lift on my Cherokee. The ride is kinda rough. Is there something I can do to soften up the ride?

It's hard for me to define rough since I am so use to driving smooth riding sedans..So my jeep rides much rougher then my car did..Although I'd say the RE 3.5 rides rougher then stock but it's smoothing out..

Long arms decrease the angle of your control arms allowing fora smoother ride. they can be quite pricey though if you are on a budget. If you have any fabrication skills consider fabbing some. Otherwise try Rusty's, Rubicon Express, or TnT.
Also, I have a RC lift and it does ride rough, you could try some different shocks

Where can I find some monotube shocks? I saw some from bilstein. Are these any good?

Your ride is rough because you are on short arms. Going 4"+ on short arms is gonna net you a rough ride, no matter what shocks you have. It's all about the control arm angles. When they are flat, the suspension absorbs the road noise. When they are angled down, the road noise is sent up the arm and absorbed by the chassis. When you buy a stock jeep, it rides nice because the arms are parallel, which is how they are designed for best ride quality. Putting on long arms pushes the frame connection points back a foot, enabling you to run longer arms almost parallel to the ground. This allows the suspension to absorb road shock like it should.
Don't think getting new shocks will solve it. It may lessen it a bit but it will still be rough. I am running the best shocks (IMO), the old man emu's, and mine is rough at 4". Angles man....angles

They will still be quite short for that lift. Read this article, very good one.

You may be able to find some arms that have alot of adjustability and crank them to the maximum length and notice a bit of improvement but you could save a couple more bucks and just get long arms from RE. I think you can purchase the arms and brackets separate.
