I have a 89 jeep 4.0 auto and has a crack between the 2 sensors and is making my idle wonky and sometimes will stall coming to a stop.I don,t have time to fix it right now as I found out could take a couple afternoons to do and a shop wants 800.00 to do it .Was wondering if anyone has any ideas, like does any of the ex. putty quick fix stuff work or tape,or just live with it

On my prior Jeep ( 89 Wrangler ) I attempted the same type of fix. It was almost impossible to get the manifold clean enough that the putty would stick and thus actually work. Bought a new cheap one off eBay and just replaced.
