Default Subwoofer works, speakers dont.

I got in my jeep after not driving it for a couple days and everything seemed normal.... My radio was on for about 10 minutes and than Poof...Silence. My subwoofer and amp seem to work fine, but im getting nothing from all 4 speakers. Every once in a while i will hear some static from the rear drivers side speaker. Ive already re-wired the entire drivers door harness... I know the door jam boot causes breakage and continuity issues... But since its all 4 speakers im not sure thats the reason.

Is the head unit junk?

Check connections behind HU, run a continuity test from rear of HU to speaker terminals.

Sounds like ether loose wires or positive speaker wire insulation has stripped away and is ether touching negative wire or any place that is grounded. If u are still using stock speaker wires try running new wire to speakers, which I recommend doing regardless, and cut factory speaker wires off at wiring harness and be sure that there's no way anything could b touched with the ends, wire nut ends no bare wire showing.
