Default Stupid front drive shaft question...

I've installed a SYE, changed out transmission gears, installed lift kits, replaced radiators...... but I don't know if the front driveshaft spins all the time!!! Does it??? Thanks....1989 Cherokee 4wd

im not a jp xpert but ,yes.most jeeps have 2 open diffs and the t case kinks them, or not in 2 wd but if youre moving the front diff should be turning the d shaft.
put a piece of tape on it and move 3 feet!! check it out,,,

Yep, it sure does if it's a DANA 30 Transaxle....the one with CAD.
That's what my 88 Comanche Chief has , and it spins as long as the truck is moving
