Hey Guys, sorry for this post. It may be a bit redundant but I haven't found anyone with my problem exactly. I used my Jeep in all 4WD selections last year with no problem. It's a Selec Tarc, and after shifting back into 2WD it would take a little driving to hear the "click" of it disengages and going back into 2WD. After not using it for almost a year, I tried the other day and it engages all 4WD no problem, no grinding, shifts back and fourth through the 4WD selections no problem, but won't go back to 2WD for a long time- Like a day of driving later. I tried backing up, re shifting, stop shifting, 20 mph shifting. What's the deal?, is the handle a little out of adjustment maybe, or just lack of use? Any thoughts would help. Thank You.

Sounds like its sticking from the lack of use i try to put mine in 4wd at least once a week just to make sure it working.

I would try spending some time going from 2wd to 4wd and see if it shifts back any faster.

When mine used to stick in 4wd i would shift it back into 2wd then put it in neutral then into reverse and it would always click pack into 2wd sounds like you have already did that put that seems to be the way to make it work.
