Default Stripped Lug Nut Advice.....?

One of my lug nuts is stripped, meaning that the "cover" is gone and attempts to remove the remaining nut have rounded it off. What might be my options at this point?

I was rotating the tires and was to replace this lug nut with one that is intact. Apparently, it had other plans for me....

Ouch. Painful issue. Well, here is what I would do, but this is just me. I would find an impact socket that was just undersized. And beat it on with a mini sledge (single jack) Then try to remove with impact wrench.

Try using a grinder to flatten it out, or just carefully cut it off.

Yes have tried the Irwin Brand, sorry they sucked. Stripped two brand new ones. Fail. Returned. However I have a Craftsman set from Sears. Those are sent to man from God. The Craftsman set Works! I have pulled dozens of wrecked and rotted fasteners. Highly recommended. If you have room weld on a hex nut to the end of your wheel nut. Weld in the center of the new nut. The heat will help free up the stuck one. Worse that can happen is the welded on one breaks free. Third option I would go with that hammer on the smaller socket and impact.

Thanks for the heads up on the Irwin extractors. I'll look for the Craftsman and hope for the best. I tried the 18mm socket and that made a mess of it. Now I'm soaking it in PB daily and will try the Craftsman bolt exytactors when I get them....
