street legal laws
I was wondering if anyone could answer my question? I live in Arizona but am currently in Michigan Arizona law has no bumper requirements just mud flap requirements but i know Michigan does and i believe they are 24 to the frame and 28 to the bumper for my Cherokee and i am at 31 and 34 my jeep is registered in AZ. does that mean i follow AZ.s laws or Michigan??? And one more thing is the jeep cherokee considered a 1/4 ton?

you have to go by michigan laws if i michigan trooper gets ya, if hes a mean one or you give him a reason to he'll start writting up those tickets, but for the most part since you are not from there just be careful what you say to them but they usually cut slack

You must abide by their laws, but they can only enforce true safety issues. Unless your a jerk, then it's your ***. Certain things can't be enforced, example: TN has laws restricted the darkness of window tint, but they can not force a vehicle from another state the remove it for not meeting TN law.
