FIRST ISSUE:

Just changed out the spark plugs yesterday. After the first start, went back under the hood to listen. When I accelerate slightly, I'm hearing a kind of squealing from the throttle body. The noise is only upon initial acceleration. I continue to hold the acceleration and it goes away. I let go of the acceleration and it goes away. It only happens at the onset of an acceleration.

Doesn't sound like the serpentine nor is the noise near the serpentine. The belt is tight.

SECOND ISSUE:

Looking at the oil dipstick, the oil caught in the little viewing holes looks kinda red. How to know if I have transmission fluid in my oil?

2. You sure you are looking at the "engine oil" dipstick?

You say it looks kinda red. What does it look like when wiped with a white towel?

Have you changed or added to fluids lately?
