Default Strange sound?

Strange sound coming from the pulley system. I believe it's coming from the PSP. Not 100% on that, but I'm pretty sure. No squeeling or popping. Kind of a whirling? Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas?

A little more specific if possible. Mine recently started making a whirly rumble noise when I was driving and it was the ac compressor clutch bearing. Turn on your ac and make sure that little wheel starts turning. It is a problem many get.

Nah Ac is good. It's coming from the PSP I'm pretty sure. And it's only at idle. Under load it goes away.

Ok? First you say you don't know where it's coming from then you say it's coming from the PSP... So, What are you trying to ask?

Just below the PSP pulley is an idler pulley. It may be the source of your noise. They will shell out over time and make odd noises. Check it out by loosening the drive belt and rotating the pulley by hand - anything but an ultra smooth rotation and lack of wobble in the pulley is cause for rejection.

Changed mine not long ago. Get one from NAPA if you need one.
