i have the weirdest noise. when i am stopped at a light, and there is load on the transmission i hear a knocking noise from the transmission well. when i let off the brake, the noise stops. has anyone experienced this or have any idea what this is?

 

odd wonder if the trany mount is going bad.. Get underneath and see how easily the trany moves near the cross member where the mount is.

 

do you have any skid plates..... I kow I mounted mine to snug and it kinda vibrates when the engine idles low..

 

do i just pry on it to see if it moves or...?

 

no use your hands..an watch the mount it's between the trany and the cross member..if it moves easily by hand it likely needs replacing.Also look for lose hardlines.
