Hello All
i have a strange noise coming from my rear axles, when i turn right or left i hear it, but when i turn left i hear it much much stronger than when i turn right, this keep up with me untill i drive for a while on high speeds, then when i turn right or left again its gone, whats this sound ? it sound like if u scratches to pieces of metal together ..
but this sound only comes to me in winter, in hot weather i dont hear it, now that it started to get cold alittle i started to hear it .. and when very cold weather i hear it very loud..
what this could be guys ? i have a 1994 xj

Check your fluid level? Maybe the cold is increasing the viscosity, added to low fluid level and it's not lubing til the fluid warms up and starts clinging.

i checked the level, when i took off the small black rubber the fluid got out immediately so i closed it fast and i guess this means the fluid level is ok..

When the vehicle is level, the diff fluid level should be at the bottom of the hole...e
