My dome lights are staying on "partially" - meaning about 25% lit.
when i open my lift gate, the lights go out. completely. when i shut it, back to 25% lit. i have checked, replaced, and re-checked all door pin switches, and have examined lift gate wiring and contacts too.

seems to me is that there is some kind of level-sensor for the lift gate, because as you are closing it, the lights go on/off before it even makes contact with the latch, like there is one of those switches with the level in it, that senses when it is closed enough for light to come on/off.

any thoughts? I cannot find any culprit to this, and have tried all door pin switches, and liftgate latch.

everbody say there is a switch for the hatch in the lock mec diconnect any wires that go to rear hatch lock see what happens
