Hi I have a 91 here and my issue the many of the stock wiring plugs are missing the click ends from age and wear for example the fuel pump plug and recently the plug going into the coil both have at some point fallen apart and left me scratching as why it quit till i find it.. this can be no fun when its 105 and sunny and a random plug falls apart leaving you a crank no start on side of road.. many i have taped with a good quality high temp tape for the moment however this cannot be perm resolution really as heat and tape dont mix so it will eventually also come off.. zip ties have also failed.... the question is where do you guys find replacements? I mean i like to keep the ends but i cant find replacements easily on these outside of boneyard and likley those plugs are just as tired and ugly as mine. is there a wiring supply house or something i can actually order decent quality replacements?

Search term is "weathertight or waterproof connector". If you need just 1 any local auto store has them, but you can get them much cheaper at an internet site.
i often break them just trying to figure them out! some stay by friction. i try to get a zip tie between the wires on each side. that should lock in the tie right? have you done that?
or use 3 ties, one on each side and one to tie those together.
replacing the connectors is a big job and lead to more trbl.
