Default Stock wheels, larger tires and lower control arm clearance

I have read many threads where people want larger tires on stock or stock off-set wheels with a mild 2" lift. Many mention larger tires (31's) will rub on the lower control arms and are quick to refer to off-set wheels or spacers. I saw these clearanced lower control arms on the Rusty site. I've never seen anyone mention them as an alternative so I thought I'd make them known. Anyone have any experience with these?

those rusty arms are nice, pretty beefy and a good bend.

most aftermarket lift kits that include control arms are normally bent in like that for tire clearence.

i personally run a set of stock JK control arms that have a huge bend in them to clearence the tire

These are the only arms I've seen that are bent horizontally, most seem to be bent vertically.

What year JK? Are the the same length as stock and a direct bolt in?

Do you know by how much and what height lift is required to keep the axle located properly?

WJ arms from the Junk yard are cheaper and easier.

Can you give some detail? I assume they are clearanced for larger tires. Are they a stock bolt in replacement?

They are 100% bolt up and they are turned exactly like the rustys ones.

I'd buy control arms for the XJ. Wj arms need to be modified to work and isnt worth in my opinion. You'll have to cut the frame side bushings and would take way some strength imo. Here are some great arms for the money:

cutting a bushing don't hurt anything......... and lets be honest strength isn't a huge factor our stock arms are made outta tinfoil shaving a bushing won't affect that..
