I would guess, depends on how much suspension sag there is. I have 235r15's on sagging leafs. Soon to be replaced, With 2.5 OME system (But pics in album show how close these are.)

everything is in pretty good condition. no sag that i can tell, thats why i was wondering if the 30's would fit nicely. i dont mind a little bit of rub but i also dont want to start tearing the **** out of my jeep.

Sorry for the noob question....
I'm also thinking of getting some 30x9.5 tires to put on my completely stock 1994 XJ. Other than the tires, I want to keep the jeep as close to stock as possible. Is there anything else to consider when going with these taller tires? Where do they rub, and will this rubbing cause damage? Will it have a noticeable affect on the handling/braking/speedometer? Can I still fit a spare inside?
So, in short, are there any other factors to take into consideration before choosing these tires?
Thanks
G

i'm runnin 30's on my stock 95 xj... the rear has a little sag, and the only rubbage i have is a very slight rub when turning (no not on the control arms.. its on the fender flare line-ing) and in the back they only rub when i hit some bumps again on the fender flare line-ing

^ Could that do any damage to the fender flare? What part of the lining do they contact?
Would anything bad happen if I let them keep rubbing on the LCA's forever?
Thanks.

I agree just toss em on there.
235/75/15's on mine too. Only my driver side rubs on the controll arm when I turn hard. None of the others rub. Mine are all mismatched brands though haha
