could someone measure there stock shackle length for me please? if you care to know, i have a 2001 xj. It is raised 8" in the front and 7" in the back with 33s. i wanna bring her down a bit. i would like to bring her down and trim the fenders goin for lower cog.
The front is lifted with 6.5" lift springs and acog spacers netting 8".
the rear is full leaf packs with adjustable shackles and its adjusted to the max adjustment netting 7" . so what im wondering is how low could i get er with factory shackles so i would not have to buy new leaf packs.
and i plan on lowering the front by getting 3"lift springs and keeping the acog to keep her level (huge bumper and winch). so, im shooting for 5" all the way around. i may go lower depending on what the stock shackles with do for me. thanks

darn it sorry, i googled it again and found it. i found that they was 3.25" that would take me to 4" in the back. now with 33"s at 4" of lift would i be required to trim some metal?

thanks, i figured so. also im guessing since i will be shortening my shackle, that means the axle will rotate, pinion angle will go down, right?
