The stock roof rack sliders on my wife's 96 Cheroo are stuck in place, anyone know how to free these up? My only solution is a BFH, but I don't want to wreck the rack.
Any help.....Thanks in advance!

Maybe you've tried,....spray lubricant in all joints for about three days straight to let it penetrate, then tap with rubber mallet. Might take a few tries or "waiting" days,...but sooner or later, it'll break free with lightweight tapping. I had this happen when a lot of sea sand got in the nooks/crannies. Other than that, not sure what you could do.

I have had the buttons that release the racks stick. Be carefull they are getting old and can break. Use some penetrating fluid, push and jiggle it. Be carefull. Thx-Ace
