Default Is this a stock rim?

I have this rim I want to use for a spare that is an 8 spoke and is stamped

"15x7 made in Canada" on it. On my 95 I have 6 spokes.

I tried to measure the backspacing and I think it is around 5 1/2.

Is this rim the same size as my stock rims? or do the different spokes

signify some kind of difference?

Forgot to mention, it came off a cherokee from the local pick a part but dont know what year it was.

Thanks.

If you are only intending on using it as a spare, I can't imagine it would be an issue. I have old Dodge Intrepid wheels on my XJ right now, I did not put them on but they have served their purpose so far.

I ended up finding many different looking stock rims, have varying number of spokes.

This should help. I'm not aware of any OEM wheel for the XJ nor any other related model that has 8 spokes. A picture would be greatly appreciated.

None of those look like mine. When I first got the jeep I

went to pick a part to get a spare and two jeeps there just happen to have

the same rims as mine but one of them was the 8 spoke and mine are 6, I

just assumed that mine were stock and didnt think about it anymore.

Mine look like the last one in this link, but the one I want to use as a spare

looks just like it but has 8 spokes.

After I get the front end back together I will go ahead and mount it and check the backspacing and see if it rubs or whatnot.

Thanks.

The 8-spoke is not an original Jeep wheel, then. If it fits without problems, and you don't mind the difference, roll with it. I'm just commenting on what it is and where it would have come from.

Ford Ranger/Bronco II/Explorer?

These "eight spoke steelies" came off an 87-88 OEM

These are mounted on my 92. Note rear axle, disc brakes.
Since the 87-96 are pretty much the same I'm guessing, Yes.
