Does anyone have the dimensions of this? I tried searching and also car websites but no one seems to have the OE specs? Even Advance could not even look it up. They were pulling up Cali emissions, which I do not think I have. This is a 2000 XJ Sport.

Wondering the dimensions of the actual muffler itself, and the inlet/outlet sizes. I have a 2.25" Dynomax/Flowmaster muffler, but I have a feeling the XJ are all 2".

My '96 OEM was 2-1/4" Inlet and outlet, roughly 25" from inlet to outlet with about 20" of body. I'm currently running a much shorter length muffler with a section of 2-1/4" pipe to make up for the length.

 

Why does everyone go to Advance and Auto Zone?
A real parts store, the ones that supply auto repair shops and dealerships, can look it up and give you the specs.

 

......or u can crawl under it with a tape measure. As excess said, stock muff is 2.25" center in and 2.25" offset out. The case is 20" long. About 5" thick, about 9-10" wide.
