Does anyone know the size if the stock wheels on a 96 xj. I know they're 15" but I don't know the width. I think it's 15x8 but not sure.





This is the only pic I have right now if you can see what it looks like. Also if it is 15x8 can I run a 12.5" width tire on them?

The OEM ones on my '96 are 15x7.

 

All of my stock wheels have been 15x7. A 12.5 wide tire will rub on stock wheels, unless you throw wheel spacers on it. I'd just buy new wheels though, I've got 15x8's now with 3.75" backspacing, with 35x12.5's on them and they don't rub.

 

As stated, stock is 15X7.

Don't know the proper name for it but it should be on your drivers door below the latch.
