Default stinking tranny cooler lines

okay guys I could really use some help. I was replacing the radiator in my 92 xj and the upper tranny cooler line threads were seriously stuck to the radiator, well my friend and I totally snapped the line off (as usual he takes off and leaves me, s*** I woulda too). so if you follow that line down you come to a pressure quick release coupling, easy the lower hose came right off with the tool, yeah right. so I use the tool trying to uncouple this stupid line and its not coming off no matter what I do I seriously worked on it for like 4 hours and gave up late last night, I started back up at 5 this morning and still cant get this f***er off . does anyone have any suggestions? has this happened to anyone else here? what did you have to do?
Should I just hack this connection off and reconnect with hose clamps? that's what im thinking now, any suggestions would be great, thanks.

I didn't know they ever had special connectors. Both of my XJ's have just had hose clamps holding the line on.

Just use hose clamps. Use two clamps turned 180 degrees from each other. Those lines only carry 5-7 psi. Your radiator lines have more pressure.

Hose clamps. While you have the lines cut why not throw in a stand alone trans cooler? They are under $10 at the junkyard from an early 90's Explorer and hook in easily.
