Default still new to the whole jeep thing

I take it out of 4wd and I hear a noise for quite awhile that sounds like what I can describe as a bad throw out bearing. This jeep is an auto, so it's not the throwout bearing. It goes away after quite awhile. It can't be normal, cause noone would buy a new vehicle that sounded like this when you disengage the 4wd. Any thoughts?
thanks Dave

could also be the 4wd not fully disengaging. Mine makes crazy noise from time to time also, next time you disengage, stop, put it in reverse, drive back 10-20ft then go forward...if that solves it, its just a "normal" jeep quirk lol

Dont know why they do that but....seems to be the case more often than not

Try this , next time you shift out of 4wd do it while the jeep is still rolling, pop you trans into neutral and give it a light throttle stab and put it back in drive. Depending on the road surface , speed etc maybe you are experiencing a little driveline "windup"which might keep your jeep stuck in 4wd after you have shifted
Hope this helps
