As a testament to "always look up" when you see oil leaking, I was topping off fluids the other day...went to add a small amount of oil, slipped while pouring, and spilled it all over the valve cover. Guess where it all went? Right down to the RMS (and ultimately on the driveway,DOH)...didn't get too much on the driveway as I immediately moved the jeep into the dirt, haha

Well after a good power wash with degreaser and easy off, dried for a day and ran until 210 temp I find nothing, everything is dry but leak still there, removed the last two bolts of the pan and removed cover and there it is, I guess seal still leaks because I see the fresh oil coming down from that area and everything else is dry. Any other suggestions? I may replace the seal again.

Not sure what RMS you used, but FelPro says to use a SMALL dab of RTV at the corners of the block where the RMS makes contact... did you do that? If it's still leaking after that and you verify that it's the RMS that's leaking, it's possible that you've scratched one of the metal surfaces, causing the seal to be defective.
Just to rule it out, the leak is brown, correct? If it's red, then as another poster pointed out, it could be the transmission front seal.... but you'll only know that if the fluid in the transmission is in fact red and not brown and burnt.

Thank you all for the feedback and suggestions. I ended up calling Fel-Pro and they confirmed that the 2000 XJ has a manufacturers gap between pan and block that must be filled with RTV. I have replaced the RMS, gasket and power washed again and no leaks, bone dry. Thank you all again.
