OK, just had the head gasket done 'on the side' by a friend. Oil looked a little like a cappuccino, brown foam on the dip stick, antifreeze dirty with oil.
Got that done about a week ago and was outside checking fluids today; topping stuff of just in case. Check the oil and it has the same foam issue on the dip stick.
I am assuming I shouldn't still be seeing that but wondered if that could be left over from the repair; needing to change oil again to clear everything out of the insides.
Sorry if that sounds stupid, just really hoping that the head gasket is still not compromised.
Thoughts please?
