Steering and Suspension Work
I'm replacing a lot of the front end parts on my 1993 XJ, including:
Front shocks
Front spring isolators
Track bar bushings
Tie rod
Drag link
Steering stabilizer
My question is, what order would you do these things in to minimize inefficient effort, and unnecessary work? For instance, should I do the spring isolators while I've got the track bar out? Should I make sure the new tie rod/drag link is in before I pull the springs? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
[I'll be taking it for an alignment at a shop when I'm all done, if that influences your suggested order of operations.]
