Steering shaft play
My XJ has play in the steering shaft. This appears to be a two piece unit with bolts or bearings near half way between the steering box and the firewall. There is a shield over this joint so I can't see whats there without taking things apart, also my service manual doesn't show what's there either. Any assistance would be appreciated.
