Well I'm not really 100% positive what it is but its not the steering stabilizer or the sway bars, but I have a lot of play in my steering wheel. What could be the cause of this.

Have someone sit in the jeep with engine off and turn the steering wheel side to side, you can feel where the play is in the center. As they move the steering wheel side to side watch the pitman arm and see when it moves. The play may be in the steering box and may need to be adjusted.
You may have to remove the a/c fan on the radiator to get to the adjustment on the steering box. Loosen the nut enough to get the center allen adjustment screw clockwise untill the play or most of the play is gone. Don't tighten to much or when you make a turn the steering wheel will not return to center on its own. Test drive before you replace the elec fan. Don't forget to tighten the lock nut back down..
