Default Steering components - recommendations?

I have a bad death wobble when I hit a bump at speed, so I need to redo my front suspensio. It's time for pretty much everything except shocks, I think (I just did those).

The obvious immediate need is for the tie rod/drag link/track bar assembly. I can wiggle the tie rod pretty severely by hand. (I'm sure that has nothing to do with the DW, though! )

So, I have been searching for parts. Came across
an interesting listing an interesting listing
for tie rod & drag link.

I had never heard of APDTY (Auto Parts Direct To You) before this. I searched on this site, and there is ZERO mention of them. I searched some other Jeep forums, and a few people mention them, but no reviews, no comments on the quality.

Anybody have any direct experience with them? Are they a manufacturer like Dorman or Crown or are they jsut a parts house like RockAuto? Their listings show APDTY as the manufacturer.

Or can you point me to a similar package? Currently I'm thinking I want to replace the tie rod, track bar, and drag link (or at least the wearable end parts) in one shot. I don't need off-road beefy. OEM grade is fine for my DD 97.

Later I'll tackle the ball joints, then the control arms.

Suggestions?

It honestly looks like a kit "pieced" together. I got a similar one, all made in China stuff, on eBay for $110 (ZJ solid tie rod, ends, and drag link). Bought a Dayco brand stabilizer for $25. My track bar is Rubicon express so I just replaced the bushing, but you can get nice one for about $120 I think

Rides really nice. Time will tell how it holds up, have about 4000 miles on it right now but no hard wheeling yet.

Google them. Type in 'Auto Parts Direct To You'. I got 7 reviews. Aside from that, i havent found much. But, if that store photo is correct and current, it looks unkept. Unprofessional and uninviting. No signage whatsoever. You decide.

I've always had good luck with Moog steering components. That's the way I'd go in your situation. Up until recently, I've been running almost a full moog steering system with a heavy duty tie rod and it's served me well especially taking the abuse of 35's and rock crawling.

Yeah, it's rather weird. I found mentions of them on another forum going back a few years, but it's like they have been running in stealth mode. Not all all confidence building!

Quadratec seems to have all the Crown parts listed. I just did my rear springs and shackles with Crown, and they looked just like the originals. Since I'm not doing off road, I think OEM quality is good enough for me, so that's what I'll probably use, unless someone has some negative feedback on the Crown.

If you are going to stick with the factory style steering setup check this out.

Sold! And thank you!

That looks like one of those, "Oh, duh!" inventions that is too simple see until it hits you, then you wonder why you never saw it before because it's obvious.

Well, I've ordered The Cure, and I went with the Omix-Ida steering kits. Both tie rods and their ends. If that doesn't cure the wobble, I'll move on to the ball joints, and then the control arms.
